Ferrari bubbles were on stage, to general acclaim, on two separate occasions in Beijing, both regarding Ferrari, in the sense of the red sports cars. Labels from the Trentino winery were present on Tuesday 3rd November in one of the most luxurious hotels in the capital city, the Grand Hyatt, at the dinner that the Ferrari company from Maranello hosted for its Chinese customers. And two days later, Thursday 5th November, again the Ferrari bubbles were at the cocktail reception presenting Ferrari and Maserati’s new Beijing show-room.

Ferrari is “bubbles of the month” at Harrods in London
For the first time Italian classic method sparkling wines have been chosen as bubbles of the month at Harrods in London: bubbles produced by Ferrari F.lli Lunelli spa. Each month Harrods, traditionally, promotes a historical and world famous trademark and now it is Ferrari’s turn. This means that the Trentino bubbles have a place of honour, as well as an exclusive window in that little paradise of all that is luxurious, which is Harrods of London. Italian producers of sparkling wines had been excluded from this extraordinary showcase, but now the protagonists are the well-known labels Ferrari Brut, Ferrari Perlé and Giulio Ferrari which, imported into Great Britain by Vinum, were immediately sold out. Being chosen as “Bubbles of the Month” has also given the Ferrari labels particular visibility in the Harrods catalogue, a couple of thousands of copies of which are sent to a very select clientele.
Ferrari bubbles are synonymous with excellence. So says WineReviewonLine, one of the most popular and highly rated US wine websites (www.wineReviewonLine.com) describing two labels of the Ferrari winery, the Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore 1999 and the Ferrari Perlé 2002. Both made a very favourable impression on the website reviewers, as shown by the marks awarded: 95 for the Giulio Ferrari and 94 for the Ferrari Perlé, the highest marks ever seen for Italian bubbles. The marks were accompanied by very flattering reviews. One above all: Ferrari is excellence.

An ordinary society evening at Porto Cervo with the opening of Ferrari Spazio Bollicine
This evening should be framed and remembered as one of the most wonderful. And this was how many wanted to define the opening of Ferrari Spazio Bollicine in the Piazzetta of Porto Cervo, one of the most symbolic places for the glitterati. An evening made memorable for the beautiful people who attended, starting with the special guest, Claudia Andreatti, Miss Italia 2006, its refinement and the novelty of the cocktails that followed. Such as the Blooming Perlé, a fascinating combination of Ferrari Perlé and hibiscus, offered at the start of the evening and accompanied by delicacies created by Peter Brunel. The Blooming Perlé was followed by a jeroboam which was partnered by other delicacies, this time typical Sardinian products. And to end, two other cocktails, both with Perlé and Segnana grappa, with clearly allusive names and inspired by the characteristics of the distillate, elegant and aristocratic, Perl...ei (for her in Italian), while strong and masculine, Perl...ui (for him).

The world leaders participating in G8 will toast with Ferrari bubbles
And the world leaders continue to toast with Ferrari. It will be the Trento Doc sparkling wine that starts all the official luncheons of G8 which will be held in L’Aquila. And it is again with Ferrari that the heads of state and government attending the summit will toast at the gala dinner which will conclude this historic meeting.
Symbol of excellence of the “made in Italy”, the Ferrari bubbles will never be absent from the great events of history. The Ferrari wine was there, for example, at the previous G8 held in Italy, eight years ago in Genoa. It sealed the solemn celebrations for the fiftieth anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, which was the first step towards the European Union and it accompanies all the toasts made with the guests of the Quirinal Palace.
Ferrari will not only appear in all the G8 luncheons. It has also been chosen as the official gift for the world leaders attending the summit: the Trentino winery has reserved for them the preview of the new vintage, the 2003, of the extremely rare Ferrari Perlé Nero. The sparkling wine will be partnered by the most Italian of distillates, the Solera Selezione grappa from the Segnana Distillery.

Ferrari? The best Trentodoc sparkling wines according to the US magazine Wine Enthusiast
According to the American experts, Trentodoc bubbles are great and the best of them are made by Ferrari. The opinions and scores expressed by Wine Enthusiast are so flattering for Ferrari that we cannot be anything but proud. We have to say that Wine Enthusiast is one of the most prestigious and diffuse wine magazines in the States. It is, to give you the idea, the second in the USA with regard to credibility and charisma: second only to Wine Spectator. In the latest issue, July 2009, Wine Enthusiast dedicated several pages to the Trentodoc sparkling wines and Ferrari also probably thanks, to a in-depth wine-tasting guided, several weeks ago, by Marcello Lunelli, vice-president and technical director of Ferrari. A real triumph, because all its labels taken into consideration by Wine Enthusiast have gained the approval and very high scores. To start with, and could not have been any other way, the Giulio Ferrari 1999 which with a score of 93 took first place. Preceding the Perlé 2002 and the Perlé Rosé 2003 which were awarded a score of 91 and the Ferrari Brut and Ferrari Rosé which were given 90, an extremely high score for labels that are so widespread.
